The Journey Of My Engineering - Four to Five years
Admission to SIGCE was successful; my first academic year was 2021-22. Changing plans at the last moment and planning all over again was very hard for me. I was confident enough to accept the electrical field and created a sequential four-year plan, including what to do afterward. Fun fact: even this plan failed! Every engineering field consists of 8 semesters over four years (2 semesters per year), and the first year is common for all streams in the college. Talking about Sem 1, it was purely online due to COVID. Lectures were conducted via Zoom meetings, which were difficult for both students and professors due to network glitches. Professors would teach while students mocked and disturbed everyone in the online meetings; it was kind of fun for us. The subjects of the 1st Sem required the basic knowledge taught in 11th and 12th grade. Of course, I didn't study anything in 12th, so it was difficult for me to understand them.
